Tap to Tick (the app, its Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets, and its Apple Watch companion) is a personal budgeting tool that runs entirely on your device. It has no servers, no backend, no analytics, no advertising, and no account system. This policy exists because Apple requires one — not because there is much to disclose.
None. Tap to Tick makes no network requests of any kind. Every entry you log — income, expenses, cash withdrawals, categories, budgets, account balances — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData). Data shared between the app, its widgets, and your Apple Watch stays inside Apple's app-group and Watch Connectivity mechanisms on your own devices; it is never transmitted to us or to any third party, because there is no server to send it to.
Tap to Tick does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or ad networks.
Tap to Tick does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data from anyone.
If Tap to Tick ever starts collecting or transmitting data — for example, if cloud sync is added in the future — this page will be updated first, and the update date above will change.
